I’d like to introduce you to Debbie, another amazing client of Matrix of Motion. We have had the pleasure of working with Debbie for the past 6 months and have seen some incredible changes already! Debbie would experience severe spasms throughout her back which would extremely limit her daily activities. She had tried exercising in the past but unfortunately was constantly held up by injury after injury that would hinder her progress. Once we identified some of her underlying weaknesses, we have been able to tailor her workouts specifically towards her body and her goals to achieve a pain-free life! We are well on our way and I am always encouraged by her spirits and progress towards greater health!! Keep it up Debbie!

Name: Debbie Philp
Tell us a bit about yourself: I am married, mother of two and grandmother of six, ranging in age from 4 to 22. We moved to Holland Landing in 1984.
How long have you been working out with Matrix of Motion? I started working with Greg in December 2014.
What is your Workout/Exercise/Therapy history: I have been seeing a chiropractor and going for regular massage for many years now. This is very helpful. I have also gone to Aquafit and I swim a lot in the summer. I have tried other exercise programs which always ended with sciatic pain or back spasms. I was to the point that I was afraid to try anything else.
Why did you start working with Matrix of Motion? My Chiropractor, Dr. Jaclyn of Eden Chiropractic and Wellness, suggested I see Greg.
What do you like most about working with Matrix of Motion? What I like best about working with Matrix of Motion is that with Greg’s knowledge and guidance I am seeing results. My stamina is building. Greg is constantly checking to make sure I am using the correct muscles and is quick to make adjustments when needed. I am losing the fear that I had about exercising, which was causing me setbacks.
What has your experience been like? My experience has been and continues to be amazing. In the short time I have been working with Greg, I am noticing that my pain has decreased and my endurance is higher.
What are your goals? Anything specific that you are working towards? My goals are to continue to strengthen and build my muscles and to be able to once again do a lot of the things that back pain caused me to give up. Losing a few pounds would be an added bonus.
What do you use as motivation to help keep you moving forward? My motivation is to continue to feel less pain and become more active.
What advice can you offer to others who are looking to get in shape/become healthier/starting to exercise etc… My advice is that if you are struggling with an injury that is affecting your lifestyle, or wanting to become healthier and more active, call Greg at Matrix of Motion. Each individual has their own unique needs and Greg will design and modify a program specifically with your safety and success in mind.
