September has been a great month! Kids are back in school, our work routines start to fall into place again and our workouts get back on track! This past month I have had a lot of fun working with all of my clients and seeing the progress that each one of them have made! There was definitely one client that accomplished something huge, and for that, I want to celebrate them!
Let me introduce you to Lydia Martin! Lydia is a hardworking, dedicated individual who loves her job and the kids that she gets to work with every day. It is so important to Lydia that she sets a great example for all of her students and that was one of the driving factors why Lydia started personal training with me about 3 years ago. At the beginning, we started off slow, ensuring that her exercise positions were correct and that she built up the necessary strength to handle more challenging exercises. This has been a steady progression, week by week, month by month, and year by year. This past month, Lydia managed to hit a personal best with her squat! A whopping 225 lbs! (Check out the video HERE!) At first, I didn’t know who was more excited about this accomplishment, Lydia or myself, but regardless, we were both ecstatic for achievement and that landed her a place on our Achievement Wall!
Every week I am encouraged with what I see from Lydia and I’m happy to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing individual!! Great Job Lydia!!!
