It’s hard to believe there’s someone else who enjoys challenging my physical limitations more than I do, and I think Greg enjoys it a little too much. Based on this weeks session, I’ll ask that you bear with me. I’m going to generalize for a moment: lower body exercises are a walk in the park, and upper body training should be forbidden. On several occasions I’ve almost run away when asked to participate in these dreadful exercises. Upper body exercises are torturous! You know that deep, on fire, and burning sensation…? You can see that this week I had a difficult time accepting the idea: working out is beneficial.

Like I said last week though, I do count on this once-a-week appointment to keep me going. Life has been tumultuous between moving, kids, and studying full time. I’m doing my best to manage, and am committed to seeing Greg once a week, even if he, oops I mean “it”, the exercises that is, are a pain at times. Greg’s not so bad if you need an educated and insightful trainer! He works SO closely that he even makes sure I’m not cheating reps, technique, or diet (insert sarcastic, “thanks”).

Until next week,

Carli
