So much happened in 2020, and it looks like 2021 is going to be no less eventful. We keep having to “roll with the punches” and take each day as it comes. I can only speak for my household, but it’s been a challenge maintaining a good routine of any sort. Just when you think you have something set in place, BAM, a curveball gets thrown at you and you have to readjust (for the gazillionth time in the past year nonetheless).

And I’m guilty of it just as much as everyone else. I had set goals at the beginning of the year (these emails being one of them) that I haven’t held up my end of the bargain just yet, but it’s never too late!

I’ve refreshed my mindset and am refocusing on what needs to get done, and so can you!

I’ll keep this one short, but if you’re looking to make 2021 your best year yet as far as health and fitness, there are three key things to keep in mind.

Get Clear On Your Goals: In order to achieve something, you have to identify exactly what it is. “Being healthier” is not a goal. “Toning up” is not a goal. The goal needs to be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and have a deadline. I’ll also show you how to recalibrate your mindset to make success more likely by taking some time to visualize and experience what achieving that goal will look and feel like.

Identify The Action Plan: A goal without a plan is just a wish. I’ll help you identify the small action steps that, over time, will help you achieve your goal. And yes, I said small action steps for a reason. When setting your goal, think big. When taking action, think small.

Improve Your Mindset. This is perhaps the most important aspect of long-term success … with your health and with every aspect of your life. I’m going to be sharing the key mindset pitfalls to avoid and help you learn how to make different and better decisions and stop listening to the negative noise that’s held you back in the past.

You see, it doesn’t have to be complicated. Decide what you want to accomplish, identify the actions that you need to take to get here and reframe your mindset.

What’s your No. 1 fitness goal for 2021? Post a comment, I’d love to hear it.
